Devon J--
I'm gonna assume you and Ronny are referring to Ctrl+Shft+S, that's both the new FF key combo to toggle the Search Bar as well as open Menu Editor's Options window.
I like your extension and want to keep it, but loss of FF Search Bar is too high a price. Do you know of another way to toggle the Bar?
What's your ETOA of your next version? Thanks --BB

Search bar as in the "find some text in this page" search bar?
As has always been the case, you can use slash (/) to search for any text, and single-quote (') to search for links. Or just use find-as-you-type.
If you've executed a search and want the bar to go away, just press Escape.

If you don't mind playing around with the xpi before install, here is the workaround for ctrl+shft+S: save the xpi to disk, open the xpi with winrar (or you're preffered compression tool - personally I use winrar, i can see the packed foled structure and don't have to unpack all files). browse (in winrar) to the xpi locale folder: menuedit.xpi\chrome\locale\en-US\ extract the following file: menuedittext.dtd and open with any text editor at the end of the file look for the following lines: <!-- Overlay --> <!ENTITY oMenuitem.label "Customize Menus..."> <!ENTITY oMenuitem.accesskey "s"> <!ENTITY oMEoptions.commandkey "s"> replace both "s" for letter of your choice, save file and repck xpi with this modified version. Then install. if it's already installed and you want to save your settings see following message on this forum: dlstatusbar.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=menuedit&action=display&thread=1138916245
