Any knowledge of AVG and what parameters are correct using it in Statusbar? I do not believe path\avgscan.exe on its own works but path\avgscan.exe %1 hangs, so that obviously isn't.
To set a benchmark, I tried a manual scan within AVG on a large file of 13mb and it took a few seconds, a little longer invoked at the DOS prompt in a command window, as you would expect.
However, via Statusbar after a download of the same file reaches 100%, it is so fast as witnessed by the appearance of a command window which only stays for about 1/1000th second that I don't believe it can have scanned at all. Obviously any text that may have appeared in the window is utterly impossible to read in so short a time. (Because of this, I even tried to get a screen print but could not get the timing right after quite a number of attempts!)
