Using Menu Editor 1.2.7 no spelling suggestions are shown in the right click context menu when typing into a form such as a google search box. Disabling Menu Editor resolves this problem but is of course not something I want to do.
This is using Firefox 4 RC1.

I'm having a similar issue.
I'll have several misspelled words, and it'll work correctly for the first word, but then on the subsequent ones the suggestions will remain from the first word.
Menu Editor: 1.2.7
FF: 4.0

Perhaps there is a different add-on that is creating a conflict?
Haven't seen any trouble here. Are you guys on windows?

I have the same problem with menu editor breaking the spell check in Firefox. I disable menu editor and it works. Enable it and I get the red line under a misspelled word but nothing in right click to choose from.

Guys I was having the same problems, for me Menu Editor
was automatically removing entries for the spell checker (not
sure if it was remember my settings, a bug or normal.)
What solved my problem was just allowing every entry related
to the spell checking.
-(No spelling suggestions)
-Add to dictionary
-Check spelling
-Add dictionaries
-Languages...
Check all five and restart Firefox, that solved the problem for me.

Joshua is right, it fixes bug
but what if I want to get rid of those extra entries ? Impossible ?
