I have just changed over from avg to avast and was wondering if someone could tell me how do i set up avast so it scans automatically once the file has downloaded.many thanks

Just realised i meant to ask how do i configuire download statusbar to scan once a file is downloaded automatically using avast anti virus.sorry for the confusion

Actually, I run both AVG and Avast! (just not at the same time). I think the file you're looking for is ashQuick.exe.
