I discovered what I think may be called a bug. In Firefox 2.0 beta2 I moved the 'Undo Close Tab' option from tab context menu to main context menu (because that's where it was in untoclosetab extension, so I'm used to it), but later, after restarting the Firefox, it moved back to tab context menu! All the other settings I made with Menu Editor stayed as they were, Undo Close Tab was the only one that changed.

I was able to recreate the problem, that's strange
Thanks for the bug report, I'll look into it when I get the chance

Thanks.
To add some spice, the behaviour seems even stranger than I first described it. The menu entry seems to be jumping from tab menu to context menu over time (possibly after the first use?). I.e. at first it's in the tab menu, but later it's in the context menu – as it is set with menu editor.

Where can I get 1.2.3? The page only lists 1.2.2 from August and autoupdate tool doesn't detect a new version either. I'm on 2.0 now and it's the last not-updated extension in my set.

Ok, I found it on addons.mozilla.org. Weird that it isn't listed on the homepage, though...

Um... I hate to write this, but in Firefox 2.0 I don't have Undo close tab either in context menu or in tab menu. Bah, I don't even have 'recently closed tabs' active in history menu... But it's not menueditor's fault (this time), as it's the same when I disable it. How did they manage to break things exclusively for the point-oh release? Or am I missing something?

I don't think those things show up until you actually close your first tab. Did you do that and it still didn't work?

Of course I did, the undo close tab feature disappeared altogether (along with the position in history menu (recently closed tabs). It must be some extension(s) that mangled it all, because in a vanilla Firefox everything works. I still didn't figure out what exactly causes this behaviour, but I think I'll just move my old prefs directory and start anew, only preserving bookmarks, history and passwords.
