I really like this extension, however when I install it, some of my menu items are invisible anywhere. Not in the main menu, not in the extension either. This happens all the time even with a clean installed firefox.
Here's my environment:
FF 1.5 (locale:zh-CN)
Extensions: Adblock v.5 d3 nightly 42 Noscript 1.1.3.9 Tab Mix Plus 0.3 Menu Editor 1.2 Media Wrap 0.1.5 Forecastfox 0.8.2.5.1 Flashgot 0.5.9.99
Could you please help me with this? Really pulled my hair for some time.

What menuitems? You could try deleting "menuedit.rdf" in your profile folder when firefox is closed - this will reset everything.

Most obviously, the "Extensions" item under "Tools", sometimes "Themes" instead of "Extensions" disappears.
Tried solutions:
1. Delete "menuedit.rdf". 2. Install Menu Editor after any other extesions.
Also there are disordered menu items in File menu (and probably in other menu as well, but not noticed). I was wondering if this is a clash between MEditor and other extensions, so I uninstalled MEditor and disabled all other extensions, and delete menuedit.rdf, then re-install MEditor, but the problem stands still, so I guess it might be a problem that is locale-specific.

I guess it could be the locale, but no one else has reported any problems similar to this

I just built a whole new profile for 1.5, and found that if I install Menu Editor along with other extensions, their items in the Context Menu would mostly be invisible. So finally I learned that one should install Menu Editor on its own.
But as for the disappearing "Extensions" and "Themes", this problem has been found, reported and discussed on official Taiwan forum since Firefox 1.5 has released. I myself have only just decided to make the upgrading move. As for now, the "Extensions" and "Themes" items are not appearing in the Menu Editor options dialog and this make me hesitate to start using Menu Editor. I'll try and report later.

As I have worried about, "Extensions" and "Themes" are now gone, and I also can't find "Preview Print...", even before I have applied changes in Menu Editor.

Can anyone test if you see menu items disappear when using the english locale? You can test this by setting "general.useragent.locale" to "en-US" in "about:config"
