Show the Download Status bar on upper side of browser, like the toolbars. It's good to see all picture of the personas. A lot of toolbars is better to see the head side of the personas. (The bottom of the personas usually ugly ;x) d Thanks for advance

I just discovered how to do it

So go the folder of the extension and goto chrome/content/
after it find downloadbaroverlay.xul

replace:

for:
<toolbox id="navigator-toolbox">

remove:
insertbefore="status-bar"

remove:

I wanted to ask for the exact same thing. I just changed the Firefox tabs to be shown at the bottom. It's similar to Microsoft Excel where you have the "Table 1", "Table 2" etc. and I find it tidier than having them on top.

I've just been to Facebook and I had 3 bars at the bottom now: The Facebook bar (which is part of the HTML body), the browser tabs AND the download status bar. Suffice to say, it looked very bad. I'd really like to place the Download Statusbar on top.

Hey, the file downloadbaroverlay.xul does not exist anywhere in FF6.0.2, any update? :-((( I also checked that it doesn't appear anywhere in FF3.6 + yes, of course I have installled Download Statusbar :-D Any help where to find the actual file at all??? :-(
