Strange. It's still not working. Entering the correct path to the AV exe file and S*H*L=%1 or S*H*L="%1" for arguments still doesn't work. AntiVir is started, but then it doesn't do anything apart from a self test.

I installed antivir and tried it out. The problem I mentioned in the previous thread was a problem, but it still doesn't work because of an additional problem in firefox itself. It has to do with the way that firefox handles the argument /S*H*L="c:\testfile.txt" (I tell firefox which program to use and the arguments to use and it actually initiates the program) I've opened a bug in firefox so the firefox development team can take a look at it bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303127

It's been confirmed as a bug in firefox. It doesn't handle the quotes correctly.

Me again, I made a small workaround until this bug is patched. I created a small .cmd (or .bat if you like) file. It looks like this: @echo off C:\Programme\AVPersonal\AVWIN.EXE /S*H*L="%1" Create the file with this code and name it the way you like. Next all you have to do is giving this files' path as the new path to your AV.exe and providing %1 as arguments in the Downbar/Downscan extension. Tell me if you've found a better workaround. For example I find it disturbing that you can see the cmd console for a little moment. But that's all
