Hello folks,
I have Download Statusbar 0.9.6.3 setup to work with KAV 2009 (I previously ran DownloadScan until FF3 which worked correctly. Using the following options:
AV Prog Location: C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009\avp.com
Arguments: SCAN %1 /fa
Download Statusbar doesn't appear to be executing the avp.com command line scanner as illustrated when trying to download the latest version of the divx installer where Download Statusbar tried to execute the downloaded file from the arguments section rather than the scanner.
Is this a bug or have I missed something.

Hallo,
try this and use avp.com
scan%1
scan%1/i9/fa
or try this and use avp.exe
hidden scan%1/i9/fa/show

That isn't working for me for some reason. After I d/l a file it brings up the Kaspersky screen but doesn't scan anything. Just brings up the "main menu"

hi! i only added the word "SCAN" after the %1 that's it i think. But use the avp.exe , not avp.com
so
prog: avp.com
line: %1 scan
PS. if you write f.e. /scan. the HELP window opens with some options you can choose.

That didn't work for me either, Keny. Are you missing some characters, like a slash or quote marks or something? I stupidly upgraded to Kaspersky KAV 2010 hoping they'd fixed this or come up with an actual solution, but even the official tech support agent I'm working with merely pointed to the very thread I began on this topic in their own forum and then told me that they "don’t have many requests for this feature"! How is it even possible that, with nearly 26 million downloads of "Download Statusbar" from Firefox's add-ons page alone, they "don’t have many requests for this feature"? I mean, WTF?? Who doesn't want to scan downloaded files for viruses and other malware? What the hell tiny cup are they living under?
